Meet our new Connections Pastor – Sarah Comer

I’m extremely excited to introduce you to our newest part time staff member at Real Life Community – Sarah Comer. Sarah is going to be filling a new position we’ve created for her that we’re calling “Connections Pastor.” She’s already started and is blowing us away with her ideas, work ethic and passion for the local church being a place where everyone feels “home.”
Sarah grew up in the Nazarene church as the daughter of a Nazarene Pastor in South Carolina and Georgia. She attended Trevecca Nazarene University and has a degree in Interpersonal Communications. During her time there, Sarah worked in the Admissions Department and wrote the Prospective Student Tour for the University. Sarah currently works full time as the Director of First Impressions at Ross Financial in Murfreesboro where she manages their social network, client communication and community outreach. She and her husband, Tyler Comer, just bought a house in Murfreesboro and they are excited about plugging into the community and especially Real Life.
The Ministry Position Description for the Connections Pastor is “To deepen the level of Community, Connectedness & Communication at Real Life Community.” She’ll be specifically managing the following areas:
Website, Social Media and Announcements
Database Management
Creating and managing our process for helping first time guests become fully engaged members
Planning & Facilitating Membership Classes
Various event planning throughout the year to help deepen community at Real Life
Please take a minute to introduce yourself to Sarah and Tyler (though she’s probably already introduced herself to you!) and get to know them. We’re so glad to have her helping us focus on and develop new, deep and lasting Connections at Real Life Community!
