Sunday Night Discipleship Groups
We are so excited to share with you about our GROWING (Discipleship) Ministries that occur on Sunday nights! We hope you’ll choose to be involved in what’s happening.
Representatives from the two other Nazarene churches in Murfreesboro – Blackman Community and First Church – and our church have planned this for our people in hopes of forming a partnership on Sunday nights that will be mutually beneficial to all the churches. We’re excited about the ways in which our three churches can band together in certain ways that will help us all further our shared Nazarene mission of making Christlike disciples.
We meet together with the other Murfreesboro Nazarene churches at First Church from 6-7pm for Discipleship Groups. During that time, we offer a combined Youth Ministry, several Children’s discipleship groups for kids of all ages and 5 Adult Discipleship Classes/Groups.
We’re going to run this program each Sunday night through the first week of December and then all the churches will evaluate to see if it has been helpful and worth continuing in January.
We hope you’ll consider marking Sunday evenings as a standing appointment on your calendar for the Fall. It will be a great way to get to know and GROW with your extended church family in Murfreesboro. The Adult groups we’ll be offering will be over a broad range of topics that you will find interesting and helpful. And they are all going to be 6-12 weeks in length, so there’s no “forever” kind of commitment. I’d strongly encourage you to try one out.
