A Typical Sunday Morning
Real Life is a “come as you are” kind of church. The style is very laid back and relaxed. No pretenses, no special hoops to jump through. Everybody’s welcome here from whatever walk of life and whatever stage of faith. That said, we have a deep passion that God wants to transform “who we are” into “who God wants us to be.” We have one service that starts with a prayer time at 9 AM and a hospitality time at 9:30 AM on Sundays. The service time is 10 AM.
When you come, you’ll notice that we’re right on Main St. where it comes together with Lasseter Dr. (or, if you’re into good Mexican food…next door to Camino Real!).
As you enter the building through the doors under the awning, you’ll be greeted by some kind people. On your left will be our sanctuary. On your right is our children’s ministry: Real Kids (ages 2 through 5th grade) and Nursery (younger than 2). We’ll have some wonderful volunteers looking forward to caring for them during the service. The sanctuary doubles as our hospitality area where we also serve coffee, donuts, milk and juice.
During the service, you’ll be able to participate in worship through music. We’ll sing a few songs up front, maybe show a short video and pray together. Then, you’ll listen to a message from the Bible that connects with real life. We may sing another song or receive communion. We receive offering throughout the service as people are comfortable. It’s a little different each week, but those elements are pretty typical in our services. The service typically lasts about 70 minutes.
