Hands that Serve, Hearts that Love
Every table tells a story, but only because someone set it first. Someone washed the dishes, lit the candles, stirred the soup, and made space for others to belong. The same is true in the church. Sunday mornings do not just “happen.” They are prepared with love by people who hold babies in the nursery, greet at the doors with a smile, pour coffee, run slides and sound, or lead us in worship through music. Each act, no matter how small, is part of making the table ready for others to encounter Jesus.
Serving at The Table is not about filling a slot or checking a box. It is about embodying the heart of Christ, who Himself came not to be served, but to serve. When we offer our time and our gifts, we are not just keeping things running smoothly; we are helping set the stage for someone else to taste grace, to feel welcome, to know that there is a seat for them. Without those willing to serve, the table remains empty. With willing hands, it becomes a feast of love and hospitality.
We also believe serving should not fall on just a few. At The Table, we dream of a community where everyone shares the load in some way. When each person offers their gifts, no one is left carrying the weight alone, and we all find more space to sit at the feet of Jesus. Like Martha, we serve with joy and purpose; like Mary, we rest in His presence. Both are needed, and both make the table whole.
We believe that when everyone takes part in serving, no one leaves hungry. Whether you are rocking a baby, shaking a hand, washing a dish, or strumming a guitar, you are helping prepare a table where lives can be transformed. At The Table, we do not just eat together; we serve together. Because in Christ’s Kingdom, serving is the recipe for belonging.
Worship
At The Table, music and technology work hand in hand to create a space where people can encounter God. We are looking for guitarists, drummers, keyboardists, and vocalists who feel called to use their gifts in worship. We are also seeking those who are curious about the behind-the-scenes work—sound, lighting, and running Propresenter. Even if you have never touched a soundboard or light console before, if you have the desire to learn, we would love to teach you. Every voice, every instrument, every button pressed is part of preparing the table for others to meet Jesus.
Kids Table
Whether it’s rocking babies in the nursery, guiding preschoolers with gentle hands, or leading elementary kids as they discover God’s love, there’s a place for you to serve. Maybe your gift is helping behind the scenes or greeting children with a smile as they walk through the door. Every role matters. Together, we create a table where the youngest among us feel safe, seen, and welcomed into the family of God.
Hospitality
We believe that some of the best conversations happen around a table, often with food at the center. Hospitality creates space for hearts to open and lives to connect. At The Table, those who have a passion for serving or preparing meals play a vital role in helping others experience the love of Christ in tangible ways. Every dish washed, every plate served, every meal prepared is more than a task. It is a way of saying, “You belong here.”
Connections
Do you love making people feel at home? Our front doors are the first step toward The Table, and your smile could be the welcome someone has been waiting for. Greeters help set the tone for worship by offering warmth, kindness, and direction, whether that means opening a door, answering a question, or helping someone find their place at The Table. If you enjoy connecting with others and extending hospitality, this is a beautiful way to serve.
Safety
Do you have a heart for creating a safe place where people can truly rest, worship, and encounter Jesus? Every table needs someone watching over it, making sure the space is protected and cared for. Serving on our safety team is more than just keeping an eye on things. It’s helping every child, parent, and guest know they can let their guard down and focus on God. Your presence could be the reason someone feels safe enough to stay, listen, and be changed.
Service
At every table, someone has to help guide the meal offering words of welcome, leading in prayer, breaking the bread, or sharing the good news. If you have a passion for preaching, prayer, communion, or even giving announcements, there’s a seat for you here. Serving in these ways isn’t just about filling a role; it’s about helping the whole church encounter Jesus together. Your voice, your presence, and your willingness to step up can create moments where hearts are stirred, hope is shared, and God’s Spirit moves among us.
YTH TBL
Our youth group is growing fast, and with it comes a beautiful opportunity to invest in the next generation. Teenagers need more than just a place to hang out. They need mentors who will walk alongside them, listen to their questions, and remind them that they belong at God’s table. If you have a passion for youth ministry, or simply a heart to encourage students as they discover who Jesus is, we need you here. Your presence could be the spark of hope, faith, and courage that carries them for a lifetime.
