Our Sunday gatherings at 9:30 & 11am are our primary “Connecting” events because everything we do on Sunday morning is about connecting with God & others in meaningful relationship.
When you come to Real Life at our new 2022 E. Main St. location on Sundays, you’ll experience a warm, welcoming community of people who are passionate about learning to know and reflect the life of Jesus. Much of what you’ll experience is what you’d expect from a church service. There is music, scripture, preaching & prayer.
But there are a few things that make the Real Life experience unique.
First of all, it’s pretty laid back. It doesn’t matter how you dress or if you feel out of place in a church…everybody is welcome just like you are.
Second, it’s very contemporary stylistically. We play the style of music you’d hear on the radio, the messages are very applicable to real life, and everything we do is explained so you know what’s happening.
Third, we meet around a mixture of rows of chairs and round tables for service. We feel like community is an integral part of what it means to be the people of God. So we build it into our services. We’ll have discussion topics, extended greeting times and occasionally share around the tables right in the middle of the service.
The service lasts about an hour and then most of us stick around and chat for awhile.
